Capilla Viejo - 12x16 wc
This little country chapel is just outside the town of San Migual. I first learned of it from a home- stay family, a Mexican family that takes in boarders. It's like a home away from home. The family I stayed with knew I was looking for places to paint. One afternoon they said there was something they wanted to show me just outside town, in the country. They took me to Capilla Viejo which was the very first church ever built in this area. It stands in a wonderful farm setting. I have returned there several times to paint. it's also a nice place to take a picnic.
